Bay Forest’s two plus miles of walking paths around our lakes, through our preserves and along our 2,500 ft boardwalk bring residents in contact with the spectacular beauty and diversity of SW Florida’s flowers, trees, birds and wildlife.
The boardwalk which winds its way through a coastal prairie marsh and a mangrove forest, extends directly into the estuaries of the Gulf and to our picturesque Chickee Hut.
Residents enjoy fishing from the boardwalk extension. Canoes and kayaks stored on racks along the boardwalk are launched from the Chickee Hut, providing direct access to Delnor Wiggins and Barefoot Beaches.
